The Humming of the Little Tree, poetry book written by Mehmet Kansu was translated into the Greek language by Lale Alatli.

ISBN 978-960-638-108-9Poet and writer (1938, Paphos/ Cyprus) Mehmet Kansu graduated from the Teachers College, Ankara Gazi Institute of Education, Department of Literature and Hacettepe University. He worked as a teacher, inspector and director of the Public Education Department. Along with writing poetry, essays and short stories, he also translated. He was deemed to be a supporter of the Second New Movement.
